TPLO Surgery (Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy)
TPLO surgery stabilizes the knee joint by changing its biomechanics, allowing dogs and cats to regain strong, stable limb function.
Dr. Scott Pretzer
Dr. Pretzer has been performing advanced orthopedic procedures since 1999. He trained in Oregon and at Ohio State University. Ehlers Animal Care partnered with Dr. Pretzer soon after opening its doors. His surgical skill and patient care have benefited many of our patients.
Extra Capsular Repair (Lateral Suture Technique)
This repair uses synthetic nylon in extracapsular fashion to restore stability to the stifle.
Luxating Patella Correction
This procedure is tailored to each individual patient. The goal is to stabilize the patella in its normal position and prevent future luxations.
